Bandipur Village Trekking is a small but beautiful village situated on a hilltop offering the magnificent vista of Himalayas and Marshyangdi River. The village is outstanding for tourist and non tourist and national and international trekkers, which is promoted and helped by European Union for its eco-tourism development. It lies above the Prithivi highway which leads Kathmandu Pokhara.

There are lots of interesting places to visit and offers the fantastic panoramic views of the mountains include Dhaulagiri Machapuchare, Langtang Lirung, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal and other snow-capped neighboring mountains. As well as Thani Mai is also a well known place of Bandipur, This hillock offered the stunning views of the mountains as well as bazaar at the time of sunrise and sunset is so amazing on the same time Siddhi cave, is opulence for stalactites and stalagmites, and has put the great importance in the world. This scenic village offers you some of the most remarkable ancient history, architecture, breathtaking views of Himalaya, natural awesome cave and unspoiled landscapes is the Newari town presents the unbelievable complete mix beauty of diverse culture and nature offers to get close look at Newar cultural life that reflects the refined civilization of the Kathmandu valley.

Bandipur Village Trekking / 04 Days - Outline Itinerary  

Day 01: Drive Kathmandu to Bandipur (1030m) 4 hrs.

Day 02: Hike to Ramko Village (1300m) 2 hrs.

Day 03: Explore Siddha Cave

Day 04: Drive back to Kathmandu, 4 hrs.

 

Bandipur Village Trekking / 04 Days - Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Drive Kathmandu to Bandipur (1030m) 4 hrs 
We will catch a tourist bus from Kathmandu to Bandipur which is at the distance of 148km and takes 4hours. Follow the old trail of Bandipur village and take a Sightseeing tour of traditional Bandipur discovery of the reason. Neighboring Magar, Gurung, Bahun, Chhetri, Damai and Sarki villages all contribute to the cultural including Bindabasini Temple, temple of Khadga Devi. Bandipur will offer magnificent view of Himalayan vista which includes Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhare, Langtang, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal (Overnight at tourist standard hotel on full board basis)

Day 02: Hike to Ramko Village (1300m) 2 hrs 
Today we will explore the Bandipur village as we continue our hiking up to Magar village Ramko to witness their tradition or lifestyle or hiking to the Mukhundeswari. The hilltop town not only overlooks the incredible expanse of the Marsyanngdi river valley, but also offers a breathtaking sweep of the Himalayan range, from Langtang in the east to Dhaulagiri in the west. At the evening we will have an easy nature walk in Raniban forest. (Overnight at tourist standard hotel on full board basis)

Day 03: Explore Siddha Cave
Early in the morning we will trek to Siddha cave following the dense forest for around two hours. This recently discovered cave is 437m long and 45m high which makes it the largest cave in whole Asia. Further, trek down to Bimalnagar to see the traditional Newar village. You will explore dense rhododendron forests full of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys. Drive back to Bandipur. (Overnight at tourist standard hotel on full board basis)

Day 04: Drive back to Kathmandu, 4 hrs
Have breakfast early in the morning and drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus and in the afternoon you can do some family shopping and walk around Thamel (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)

Cost Exclude

  • Nepal entree visa: you can get a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu (a multiple-entry tourist visa good for 30 days can be obtained by Paying US $ 40 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, multiple-entry tourist visas for 90 days can be obtained by paying US $ 100. Please bring 2 copies of passport-size photos.)
  • International airfare
  • Lunch and evening meals in Kathmandu (and also in the case of early return from the mountain than the scheduled itinerary)
  • Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu because of early arrival, late departure, and early return from the mountain(due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary
