Langtang Helambu trek is one of the best trekking route in Nepal, which offer you the best panoramic view of langtang and different cultural explore of Helambu region of Nepal.

Langtang Helambu Trek

Langtang Helambu Trek is popular among the trekkers for its scenic grandeur; pleasant favorable climate, located about 72 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu, is extending from north of Taramarang to the tree limit of the Gosainkunda Lake and lower slopes of Jugal Himal. There we meet several highland Tamang and Sherpa villages scattered on both sides of the Melamchi Khola. Helambu is located nearly 75 km North-East of Kathmandu Valley and is a very famous trekking trail that lies in the Langtang region. This trekking is a relatively low altitude trek and is considered to be one of the best areas for having a short trek; therefore, this is one of the most loved trekking trails in Nepal. It is one of the most convenient and short treks, as this trek lies close to Kathmandu. The trekking to Helambu is famous for its scenic grandeur and pleasant climate.

Langtang Helambu trekking includes the trip to the remote and spectacular valley of the region and the high mountain lake known as holy Gosainkund. The trek in Helambu is all about hiking mostly at the lowest altitude of 3000m, and the high point is Tharepati La pass (3600m). Helambu trek is a relatively low-altitude one, and because it is close to Kathmandu, it is convenient yet surprisingly free of trekkers. The trek passes through some beautiful forests and fascinating villages on the route. Along the way, we visit the homes of the Brahmins, Tamangs, and Sherpa people of Nepal. In the Helambu region, the Sherpas are quite distinct from the Sherpas of the Everest region in both language and customs. The ranges of mountains that rise above us match the diversity of the people we meet. From low altitudes, we have excellent views of mountains that include the Langtang range, the Annapurnas, Manaslu, and even Everest on a clear day.

For Travellers to Langtang Helambu Trek, we can modify the days according to the option and concerns of the travelers. If you have unlimited or limited time, then the Langtang Valley Trek, the  Langtang Gosainkunda Trek, or the Lantang Ganjala Pass Trek, would be a suitable alternative for your vacation.
