The trekking to Annapurna base camp has been wildly recognized as a paradise for nature lovers as it offer spectacular views of a number of Himalayas including the views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m) Mt. Manaslu (8163 m), Mt. Annapurna II (7937 m.), Mt. Annapurna III (7555m), Mt. Annapurna IV (7525m), Mt. Annapurna south (7219m), Mt. Nilgiri (7041m), Mt. Fishtail also called Mt. Machhapuchhare (6998m), Mt. Hiunchuli (6441m), Mt. Lamjung Himal (6986m), Tukuche peak (6920m), Tilicho peak (7134m). The trail to the base camp takes you to the most spectacular mountain scenery, charming settlements of Gurungs and their slate-roofed houses and incredible rhododendron forests.

You will also have chance to go Ghorepani Poon Hill (3210m) one of the best panoramic view center of Annapurna trekking, Muktinath and Annapurna sanctuary. Annapurna region trekking is the most popular trekking route in Nepal, which takes you through some of the most stunning scenery on earth. You will be walking through rhododendron forests over the foothills of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges and through the Kali Gandaki Gorge, the deepest in the world.

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking / 12 Days

Day 01: Kathmandu to Pokhara drive 6-7 hrs (850 m)
Day 02: Pokhara to Tikhedhunga (1540 m) 1 hour driving till Nayapul and trek 4-5 hrs.
Day 03: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2850 m) 5-6 hrs.
Day 04: Hike to Poon Hill and trek to Tadhapani (2660 m) 7-8 hrs.
Day 05: Tadapani to Chomrong (2140 m) 5-6 hrs.
Day 06: Chomrong to Dovan (2600 m) 5-6 hrs.
Day 07: Dovan to Machhapuchre Base Camp (3700 m) 4-5 hrs.
Day 08: Machhapuchre Base Camp to Annapurna base camp (4110 m) 4-5 hrs
Day 09: Annapurna base camp to Bamboo (2340 m) 5-6 hrs.
Day 10: Bamboo to Jhinu (1780 m) 5-6 hrs.
Day 11: Jhinu to Nayapul to Pokhara 5-6 hrs.
Day 12: Pokhara to Kathmandu drive 6-7 hrs

 

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking / 12 Days 

Day 01: Kathmandu to Pokhara drive 6-7 hrs (850 m)
Start your travel early in the morning at 7:00 am; we will arrange ticket in tourist coach at river side seat to enjoy the scenery; the road follows by Trisuli River where you see many people rafting on the river. Around 6/7 hours (200km) drive we reach Pokhara (a city of Lake, literally). A city that offers us the magnificent view of various mountains namely Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchre and other mountain of Annapurna range. You have good chance to do some last minute shopping and self exploration around the town (walk around few lake, boating etc). (Overnight in Pokhara at Hotel Mount View/Similar catagory on BB basis)

Day 02: Pokhara to Tikhedhunga (1540 m) 1 hour driving till Nayapul and trek 4-5 hrs.
After our breakfast, we take an early morning drive to Nayapul which take about an hour. Our first day of Annapurna base camp trek is a bit easier hike through the bank of Modi Khola River, and the beautiful sight of lowland rice fields. (Over night at tea house on full board basis)

Day 03: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2850 m) 5-6 hrs.
Leaving Tikhedunga, we begin our journey with steep climb to Ulleri ascending a steep stone staircase (which has about 3300 steps), a difficult part for most of the trekkers. During our 5/6 hrs hike we will experience the majestic views, rhododendron forest, beautiful villages, flora and fauna and many more. (Over night at tea house on full board basis)

Day 04: Hike to Poon Hill and trek to Tadhapani (2660 m) 7-8 hrs.
Early morning climb up to Poon Hill (3210 meters / 10531 feet ( to see panoramic view with beautiful sun rise and after breakfast trek to Tadapani through dense forest; we get chance to see monkeys, birds and other animals. (Over night at tea house on full board basis)

Day 05: Tadapani to Chomrong (2140 m) 5-6 hrs.
From Tadapani, we make a steep descent through the dense and dark forest to a beautiful village located on the lap of giant Annapurna massive known as Chomrong. Our route from Tadapani to Chomrong route passes through the west bank of the Modi Khola with descent and steep along the way to Chomrong below the towering peaks Annapurna South and Machhapuchhare (Fishtail). (Over night at tea house on full board basis)

Day 06: Chomrong to Dovan (2600 m) 5-6 hrs.
After breakfast, the trail we make flight of stone steps to the Chhomrong Khola and wooded slopes of Himalayas. Then we cross the suspension bridge continues trek through up to Sinuwa. The trail leads us very thick bamboo and rhododendron forests into the bottom of gorge to the Bamboo to head 1hrs in the forests to the Dovan. (Over night at tea house on full board basis)

Day 07: Dovan to Machhapuchre Base Camp (3700 m) 4-5 hrs.
Gradual ascending through the river bank of Modi Khola we reach base camp of Machhapcuhre which also known as Mt. Fishtail. (Over night at tea house on full board basis)
Day 08: Machhapuchre Base Camp to Annapurna base camp (4110 m) 4-5 hrs
The trail continues gradual ascending Annapurna Base Camp. This area is called the Annapurna Sanctuary since it is totally surrounded by spectacular mountains. (Over night at tea house on full board basis)

Day 09: Annapurna base camp to Bamboo (2340 m) 5-6 hrs.
Wake up early morning, explore the hidden valley then trek back to Bamboo (2340m), after breakfast you will be walking all the way down hill to Bamboo. (Over night at tea house on full board basis)

Day 10: Bamboo to Jhinu (1780 m) 5-6 hrs.
After breakfast we trek back to same as passed before way to the Sinuwa via walk downhill the Chhomrong Khola and then crossed by bridge, we taking more than thousand stone steps on end of Chhomrong Village. After Chhomrong we taking different rote and instead of going to Ghandruk Village but we head to Jhinu Danda has nature hot water people call as know nature hot spring. We get opportunity enjoy in hot spring in Jhinu Danda which 15 minutes descend from our Hotel. (Over night at tea house on full board basis)

Day 11: Jhinu to Nayapul to Pokhara 5-6 hrs.
Today is our trekking ends at Nayapull. After breakfast we were going to follow river bank of the Modi Khola via New Bridge and Kyumi Village. We'll keep on continues our last minute journey into the Syauli bazaar to Birethati and then we head to half an hour for the ends at Nayapull. We will take few minute rests for the cold drinks, after that drive back to Pokhara. Take a rest and relax in the hotel. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)

Day 12: Pokhara to Kathmandu drive 6-7 hrs
We will arrange ticket in tourist coach at river side seat and start your journey at 7:30 am from Pokhara. Left site's seats of vehicles are nice to enjoy the scenery; the road follows by Trisuli River where you see many people rafting on the river. After 6/7 hours you will arrive at Kathmandu (beside Thamel) and transfer to your hotel. The day at leisure to rest, perhaps catch up on some last minute shopping or explore any sights you missed during your first day in Kathmandu. . (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)

  • Nepal entree visa: you can get a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu (A multiple-entry tourist visa good for 30 days can be obtained by Paying US $ 40 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, multiple-entry tourist visas for 90 days can be obtained by paying US $100. Please bring 2 copies of passport-size photos)
