Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trekking

Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trekking

Jiri to Everest base camp trekking is one of the classic trekking trails in the Everest region. While having trekking from this route, you will experience the real taste of trekking as you trek over two weeks and finally reach Everest base camp. You catch the bus from Kathmandu about seven to ten hours drive by taxi or bus or private car. A newly opened extension to the road beyond Jiri currently reaches the village of Bhandar but, since the bus takes over three hours from Jiri. The trek from Jiri to Lukla takes an average of seven days and prepares for the Everest base camp trek. In between Jiri to Lukla, you reach the highest point Lamjura La pass (3,530 meters above sea level) and many sea levels; therefore you have opportunity to have many magnificent views of the Himalayas, green forest, rhododendron and other seasonal flowers.

The trek passes through parts of Solukhumbu which are relatively undeveloped, enabling trekkers to have experience of many traditional aspects of the culture of the local people residing around various settlements which comprised of different ethnic groups such as Sherpa, Tamang, Jirel, Rai, Brahmin and Chhetri. The trail is well serviced, with trekking tea houses and good campsites in most of the settlements, since the beginning of trekking at Jiri you will have many lodges and hotels to sojourn namely Deurali, Kenja, Sete, Lamjura, Junbesi, Trasindho, Karki Khola and Surkne(below Lukla) where you will have similar facilities like in developed countries. The local tea house owners also arrange guides and day trips if you are willing to travel in the local area like the monastery, cultural and religious heritages. After a walk for about seven days, you will reach Lukla, the main trail to Everest Base Camp and after making a trip to the final destination, you will return from the same route to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu.

For Travelers to everest view trekking, we can change the days according to the choice and concern of the travelers. If you have limited time, then the Everest Base Camp Trekking 13days would be a suitable option for your vacation.
