Nepal Nature Tour / 10 Days - Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu (1300m).
Namaste & welcome to Mountain Guide Trek of Nepal. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a representative from Mountain guide Treks (MGT). After completing your custom formalities (Visa, etc) pick up your luggage and look for our representative with a Mountain Guide Treks and Expedition with Group leader's name display board at the arrival gate. You will be then transferred to Hotel. After check in, if time allows, you will visit MGT office to meet your trekking leader as well as other participants and for final preparation for the trip. It all depends upon your arrival time. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)

Day 02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation.
The day after breakfast we will start sightseeing tour with our professional tour guide to the several of most historical and spiritual Place in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered the World Heritage historic Sites such as Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambunath) and Buddhists shrine (Buddha Nath) which is one of the largest Stupas in the world. After come back from the tour there will be a pre-trip discussion with our trek leader and other team members. Mountain Guide Trek will brief you regarding your trek as well as we may have an opportunity to discuss any difficulties regarding our upcoming adventure. Rest of the time you could use for travelling around the Thamel and shopping of needed equipments and other necessaries. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)

Day 03: Kathmandu to Nagarkot.
Sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur city- Kathmandu valleys most medieval city also known as Bhadgaon and was one of the three Kingdoms of Mallas. It is famous for Lion gate, the picture gallery, the Golden gate and palace of 55 windows. After finishing Sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur city ,we drive to Nagarkot. (Overnight at tourist standard hotel on full board basis)

Day 04: Nagarkot to Dhulikhel Tour.
This day involves waking up in the early morning hours in order to watch the spectacular sunrise over the Himalayan range. The first rays of the sun firing the peaks glowing a multitude of pink, gold and red hues as it slowly lights up the Himalayas becomes extremely beautiful gracing your honeymoon pursuits. After breakfast, we will pack up and proceed for Dhulikhel - the next destination. En route, you will visit the Changunarayan Temple-dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It was built in the 4th century and has a stone inscription which is the first recorded history of Nepal. Its one of the UNESCO recognized heritage sites of Nepal. We will walk through a cool dense forest and local villages exploring the Nepalese village life. (Overnight at tourist standard hotel on full board basis)

Day 05: Drive to Chitwan Jungle Safari. 
After breakfast, you will take a scenic drive 4-5 hrs, along Trishuli River to Chitwan National Park, in lowland of Nepal. After lunch in jungle camp, you will be escorted for a short walk tour to the village and Park Information Center. In the evening, you would like to walk along the riverbank and enjoy the romantic sunset view. There will be slides presentation or briefing on wildlife by expert naturalist. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)

Day 06: Chitwan Jungle Safari Activities.
After breakfast, you will go for a canoe trip to explore the aquatic life of Chit wan National Park. You will have opportunity to see some rare aquatic bird life of the park. After conclusion of the canoe ride, you will be picked by the riverside and transferred to hotel or you can go to search wildlife on foot in the forest of Park. This is quite adventurous trip. You will walk back to camp for lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy the Elephant Back Safari. The elephant takes you inside the dense forest and grassland in search of Great Asian One-horned Rhinoceros, Leopard, Sloth Beer, deer, monkeys, wild boar and 460 different species of birds. Royal Bengal Tiger, being territorial and nocturnal in behavior, will normally not appear during the day, but sometime your luck can do wonders and you can have an unforgettable sight of the king of the forest. After a ride of more than one hour, you will come back to the camp. In the evening, there will be Tharu Tribal Dance performed. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)

Day 07: Chitwan to Pokhara.
In the morning, you will go for a refreshing morning walk in the neighboring forest with binoculars in order to view some birds of the park. After breakfast, you will drive to Pokhara. Pokhara valley is the second largest tourist attraction after Kathmandu and regarded as one of the most beautiful place in Nepal. Pollution free and less crowded, Pokhra has a lot to offer to the visitors. In the afternoon, you will stroll along the lakeside and enjoy boating in Phewa Lake. The reflection of Fishtail on the tranquil surface of Phewa Lake is an unforgettable sight. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on full board basis)

Day 08: Pokhara Sightseeing
In the morning, you will go for a sunrise tour to Sarangkot from where you will have splendid view of Annapurna massif, Machhpuhhre, Dhulagiri and other mountains. You will drive back or walk down to Pokhara. After lunch, you will visit Mahendra Cave, a unique geographical creation, Davis Fall, Bindhevasini Temple etc. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on full board basis)

Day 09: Pokhara to Kathmandu fly 25 min. /drive 6-7 hrs
We choose afternoon flight to Kathmandu, till some hours before flight; you may take an optional sightseeing tour in and around Pokhara or enjoy adventure activities such as boat riding, paragliding, etc. While returning to Kathmandu from Pokhara, be sure to catch the left side of airplane for the best views of Himalayas. Or if you would like to choose by bus, we will arrange ticket in tourist coach at river side seat and start your journey at 7:30 am from Pokhara. Left site's seats of vehicles are nice to enjoy the scenery; the road follows by Trisuli River where you see many people rafting on the river. Around 2:00 pm you will arrive at Kathmandu (beside Thamel) and transfer to your hotel. The day at leisure to rest, perhaps catch up on some last minute shopping or explore any sights you missed during your first day in Kathmandu. In the evening "Farewell dinner" at traditional Nepalese restaurant with Mountain Guide staffs. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on full board basis)

Day 10: Farewell Friend (Final departure to your onward destination).
Today is last day in Nepal for this trip; you are saying good bye to the mountains as journey in Nepal, comes to an end today, There is nothing to do but trade emails with travel companions and organize the photos. If you have more time you can do some shopping or sightseeing. Approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight a representative from Mountain Guide Treks will take you to the airport.
