Shivapuri Hiking

Shivapuri Hiking

It is second highest hill around Kathmandu valley at an altitude of 2563m north of Kathmandu. The hike to Shivapuri hill (2,732 m) from northern border of Kathmandu takes about 8 hrs. Shivapuri hiking is one of the most exciting hike around Kathmandu. Nepal, Shivapuri Village maintains the true spirit of Nepalese village experience in it’s midst; yet it provides a visitor a glimpse of the remoteness and the grandeur apart from the hospitality and lies in the buffer zone of the Shivapuri National Park, which is one of the few National Parks situated in any capital around the globe. Shivapuri Village offers various activities to keep oneself busy during their stay be it in the form of Nature Treks and Hikes, Ethnic Village Tours, Bird Watching, Photography or just simply to relax in leisure.
