After meeting our guide, we head up the Dudh Koshi Valley on a well-marked trail to Phakding. Phakding village is the first overnight staying station for the trekkers in this region. At the centre of the village stands Rimijung Monastery established by a Sherpa Lama "Khempo Dorje" in the 16th century. We stay overnight at Yeti Mountain Home in Phakding. If the weather is clear, we get the first glimpse of Mt Everest.
