Departing from Kathmandu in the late afternoon, you will fly to Pokhara, Upper mustang helicopter tour is one of the Nepal’s most picturesque areas known for stunning mountain views.
Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu (1300m).
Day 02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation.
Day 03: Kathmandu (1300m) to Pokhara (900m) by bus, 6 hrs or by fly, 30 min.
Day 04: Helicopter Tour to Upper Mustang.
Day 05: Early morning fly from Jomsom to Pokhara (960m), 20 min.
Day 06: Pokhara to Kathmandu, fly 25 min. drive 6-7 hrs.
Day 07: Farewell Friend (Final departure to your onward destination).
Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu (1300m).
Namaste & welcome to Mountain Guide Trek of Nepal. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a representative from Mountain guide Treks (MGT). After completing your custom formalities (Visa, etc) pick up your luggage and look for our representative with a Mountain Guide Treks and Expedition with Group leader's name display board at the arrival gate. You will be then transferred to Hotel. After check in, if time allows, you will visit MGT office to meet your trekking leader as well as other participants and for final preparation for the trip. Day 02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation.
The day after breakfast we will start sightseeing tour with our professional tour guide to the several of most historical and spiritual Place in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered the World Heritage historic Sites such as Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambunath) and Buddhists shrine (Buddhanath) which is one of the largest Stupas in the world. After come back from the tour there will be a pre-trip discussion with our trek leader and other team members. Mountain Guide Trek will brief you regarding your trek as well as we may have an opportunity to discuss any difficulties regarding our upcoming adventure. Rest of the time you could use for travelling around the Thamel and shopping of needed equipment and other necessaries. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)
Day 03: Kathmandu (1300m) to Pokhara (900m) by bus, 6 hrs or by fly, 30 min.
We start our day early in the morning to catch a tourist bus at 7 am, we then set off for Pokhara via Nepalese country side that offer green hills, river, farms etc. After a 200 km and around 6 hours drive we reach Pokhara (a city of Lake, literally); or 30 min. fly to Pokhara as per departure time. A city that offers us the magnificent view of various mountains namely Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchre and other mountain of Annapurna range. Do some last minute shopping and self exploration around the town (walk around few lake, boating etc). (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)
Day 04: Helicopter Tour to Upper Mustang.
This trek begins after flight from Pokhara to Jomsom on the upper Kali Gandaki River between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, our trekking holiday to Mustang allows us to explore a weird and wonderful landscape of eroded conglomerate cliffs, colored by natural earth pigments - reds, yellows, browns and blues. Trekking across passes of up to 4100m, we will also be walking through a succession of picturesque white painted Mustang villages and Tibetan monasteries, set against a backdrop of the distant snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas. We have a day to explore our ultimate destination for excursion in Lo Manthang, a fairy-tale walled city and the capital of Mustang which is quite unlike anything else in Nepal. This enlightening trekking adventure to Mustang in Nepal will surely appeal to those looking to explore a very special part of the Himalaya and finally by flight from Jomsom to Pokhara or continue trek to Ghorepani Poon hill and ending Himalayan adventure trip at Pokhara. Day 05: Early morning fly from Jomsom to Pokhara (960m), 20 min.&
Early morning we fly to Pokhara with thrilling fantastic Mountain View including Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna south, Annapurna I and Machhapuchre during the flight. In the day Time if we have time we will meet the places are in Pokhara such as International Mountain Museum, Devis falls, and Boating in Fewa Lake. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis).
Day 06: Pokhara to Kathmandu, fly 25 min. drive 6-7 hrs.
In the morning we fly to Kathmandu, be sure to catch the left side of airplane for the best views of Himalayas. Or if by bus, we will arrange ticket in tourist coach at river side seat and start your journey at 7:30 am from Pokhara. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)
Day 07: Farewell Friend (Final departure to your onward destination).
Today is last day in Nepal for this trip, you are saying good bye to the mountains as journey in Nepal, comes to an end today! There is nothing to do but trade emails with travel companions and organize the photos. If you have more time you can do some shopping or sightseeing. Approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight a representative from Mountain Guide Treks will take you to the airport.
